This is BEAUTIFUL.The colors are vibrant, the shading is deep, even the rays of sun are done so very well. The angles of the person capture the eyes and makes them follow the line of the body, giving it depth. I'm trying to read the expression of the body instead of just the face which makes me connect with the character more. Plus I am in love with those reds and yellow but I do get a more autumn-ish feeling from the picture. Overall, beautiful bravo, bravo. Clap clap applause

First of all, thank you very much for your detailed - and very kind - comment.
It's the type of conversational piece that a doodler like me is looking for, I think.

You're the second person to tell me the colours look more autumn than spring, actually. And I couldn't agree with you more. (I -did- say that "I realised I can't do Spring justice, right? ^^;) But I am really glad that you took notice of the composition and the movement in the picture over the details such as the facial expressions. There really wasn't much in ways of expression on this guy's face, but his gestures spoke more. I have a bad habit of wearing a coat but leaving it unbuttoned so that it would flap in the wind. There's something exhilarating about that feeling as if you are almost able to fly. That was the kind of feeling I wanted to bring to this piece, because in spring even the snow birds will wake up and spread their wings to fly. And I am really glad to hear that this was what had captured your attention.

Once again, thank you!

Well you are my cupcake so I will be here to critique or whatever else you might need me for~
And yes, the flapping coat makes a great impact on the picture. It's not just standing still, you see what the wind touches and makes the leaves rustle in your head. Makes one remember a strong wind and the sweet smells of spring.
For me, the smell of spring is an oak tree like the one on my front yard. She smells great^^

I would love to have someone who would critique me, actually. I think that's the only way I'll learn. And while we're on that note... don't spare the rod. There's a role for both nice words and bad words whenever they are called for. And thank you very much in advance!

Unfortunately for me... spring usually means the onset of awful allergies. You might say I am living spring vicariously through this character here: I'd love to do what he's doing out in a meadow! And hey, he looks better than me while doing it. I can't deny that... ^^;

Lol every drawing is cooler than the person who drew it, Nedalliae is way cooler than me
And fine, no rod sparing from here on for you

... Much appreciated!
... That's how we learn at the end of the day, after all. And if there's one thing I do know, I still have a -lot- of learning to do.
