Er...Yafray is not designed for shiny things. It is designed for GI, really. And tyhe realism of shiny and transparent stuff is...erm...a...'side effect', due to GI photons for caustics. And also, Yafray use physical effects for materials (IOR affecting reflection is true in real life even in opaque stuff as it is actually the density of the 'material', dispersion power is another physical unit)

Thats through my observations of Yafray's GI. Its just too realistic =D

Darn. Buttons make everything better.

That's part of the reason I dislike Maya. (At least the version I was working with.) The interface just seemed uneccessarily complex.

I like hotkeys. I know the hotkey, or at least the hotkey that produces the menu, of all the functions I know.
