why does she have a transparent sailor-v mask? whose necklace is that? why are there extra bits on her tiara, and why does she have the little bits of hair from the ears? as pretty as it is this does not look like sailormoon from the bottom of the bangs down
She based it off the manga and the new sailor moon series.
she did not look like that at all in the manga so she would have to look like that in the new series which would be a shame
it's their 20th anniversary, granted she didn't look exactly like what she drew but she added her own little touch to it, which isn't wrong. However the newer series is based off the manga since the original aired series was not. I honestly like the new look they gave her considering the time difference.

that style was quite complicated and mysterious, i had to go through some research and i guess, the colors are close to what Naoko Takeuchi had in mind~ (since the manga's in black and white)
