I only have a few, since I give most of them away to friends and family after they were pictured.
(well, some have also been damaged, or lost on the field. May their paper fibers decompose in peace.)
It is however a good idea to make a scene with many of them together, regardless of mismatched proportions to each other.

LOL, poor little creatures. Bummer, but that was to be expected. Although, I kind of pictured your home to have nothing but origami lining every shelf and crevice.
Yes, I have lost more than one in water (from puddles, to ponds, to even a river once) helped by an unexpected gust of wind.
I had a phase where I had a small paper animal invasion going on but, it didn't last.
Now, I let them invade and clutter other peoples shelves instead.
