A very fascinating premise... I like it. I'm guessing you mean like Tsukiyomi? The Japanese moon god? And he's in Chinese-inspired robes. A very creative twist. :3

What is this for, if you don't mind me asking?

It's painted for Paizo Publishing's "Pathfinder" game. The god is called Tsukiyo there, but I guess it is inspired by the Japanese one, indeed.
I'm glad you like it!:)

Thanks. I'm always one to appreciate artistic liberty, especially because I can see your attention to detail and a wonderful dose of creativity. ^.^

On a different but somewhat related note, what I find deeply unfortunate is when gamers take information from media based off of mythologies and take that as the core beliefs of the mythology. You wouldn't believe how many LO5R, Dungeons and Dragons, Naruto, Bleach, Inuyasha, Magic the Gathering, and Death Note fans I've had to correct because they never bothered to do their homework. :) I try not to embarrass them when I tell them, but some of them end up embarrassing themselves or in some cases throw a temper tantrum when they realize that their favorite media is not accurate... I guess people sometimes forget that fiction's written to be entertaining more than accurate for the most part. x.x

Even so, I do love to see new and creative fantasies released, and it's nice to see more modern fantasy based off of non-European beliefs, there really should be more creativity in fantasy nowadays... like this. :3 Keep up the great work, I hope to see more of it. ^w^
