well not counting the walking and falling, I spent about 6-8 hrs on the lipsyncing and head movements, from what I hear thats pretty good though lipsyncing has got to be some of the most hair pulling borrng-est parts of the animation due to not being able to listen to music and it being very predictable and such, so that 8 hours wasnt counting about 2-3 hours of accumulated breaks (probably even longer, but hey I had other finals and such) XD
The walking part of the animation is a bit harder to guess as I did it on free time, for no real assignment (at that moment) and I was up late at night doing it for fun kinda, so I didnt keep track of the time, then spent some time tweeking, so that might be around 8 hours in itself somewhere... the falling down was prolly another 2, still the blendshapes for all the facial movements trumps all these with probably 10-18 hrs and then modeling/ texturing tounge and teeth, 4-8, and rigging teeth tounge 1-3. all very tough to judge Im guessing thats what the ammount to total, concidering I like to take alot of breaks specially for projects with no due times XD
Haha, yah and I had to make my own rig too XD none of that free turbosquid crap (not that its really crap, but you know. XD)
and this is only like a half day of work the day before the final >_> stupid blendshapes kicked my ass and so did adv light and texturing class XD stupid render, "I just want to bite someone in the face!"
Dude!
wow!
For that first part, the facial expressions/lip-syncing are Awesome!
HOW DO YOU DO THAT?!
(im gonna need to know how to lip-sync for next semester)
Im just still sitting here liek: "wow, this dude KNOWS what he's doing!"
Im REaly impressed!
though... i dont think i could stand to put my guys through that...
(ok, MAYbe One of them dies in the end, but not like this!)
(I think I had a dream leik this once too 0_o... kinda creeepy...)
heh, i never saw that episode of Robot Chicken... that show is Hilarious!
The emotions look good, especially in in stage 1. The 'm' sound pops up a lot and is not easily read on his lips...I think that might make the mouthing of the words work a bit better. Sometimes over emphasizing looks better. I like it, though! Nice work

Dont mess with a Dragon, for you can become crunchy and therefor taste good with your choice of condiment.
