It is not just for money reasons ether. Space and personal matters also play a role in this.
Personal? I don't remember reading that (my mind is slippery.) Though I have an idea for how to fix the space problems. Maybe you could place some figures in spots to decorate? I did this with some nick-knacks and toys (e.g. a dragon statue on my PS2, a Wario toy on my Wii, a Donkey Kong toy on my SNES, etc.)
Exactly, because such person reasons are too be kept private. I rather not dive into detail so to speak.

And the financial side of it, other things have cropped up over the course of time that are more important. That and f**king customs ... Who carved £40 out of my savings JUST to inspect some of the figures. It has driven me insane, so no more ... Plus I made a promise to someone close to stop collecting these as part of a deal.
It sucks royally, but it happens ... And even then, I am content with what I have gone. At least I have gotten Mothra who is quintessential.
