Just as I imagined, if not, better. This is simply breathtaking! I love all of the colors you used here, it looks so peaceful. Splendid job! :)

Thank you so much (and for the encouragement earlier, it helped me get done sooner). :)

You are most certainly welcome! :tighthug: I just love your talent in coloring. It's just so... astonishing, beautiful. I wish I had your skills hehe. >w<

Actually, I'm still learning a lot about digital coloring and still figuring a lot of stuff out. Recently I just learned how to use the lasso tool, even! I've never felt that it was my forte (that's line art and traditional, but my scanner stinks).

I guess though that ask for help/critiques/(bugging certain friends for advice who you know are more skilled than you...lol) is a really good way to get better. :iconDrManical: really helped me when I was finishing up this painting, especially his advice on how to paint/color/"render" Whispy's leafs.

Sorry for the late response, though. I was really busy these last few days.

Ah, then you're quite a quick learner. I don't even know how to use the lasso tool myself. Perhaps I should take the time to learn it myself now that you mention it. I know what you mean about the scanner, I too have one that doesn't work as well, you can see how so many pixels and it is very blurry but I manage with it somehow hehe.

It's good that you ask for help and critiques, I can see that it definitely helps you out a lot. I should do that more often, but many times I am quite shy to ask for any. I should really overcome this if I want to improve much more in art. So...starting now, may I ask how did you colored Whispy's leafs? x3 I can't help but stare at them for a long time, they just came out very impressive and I'm having a hard time figuring out on how did you do them so well.

It's quite fine, I understand that you have other things to do so please, do not mind at all. :) I also apologize for the late response, I was visiting family members so I had no access to the computer.
