I have been doing mainly grey scale stuff because I am a lazy butt and didnt want to work in color. XD

Grey-scale can be very informative!! It teaches a lot about value (and is one of my favorite ways to work, to be honest).
Also you are correct xD It can be WAY EASIER. Color is hard!
