Aw yeah. They canceled all the Wi-Fi services for DS and Wii games.
They did on 25th May, however I didn't get a notification. On the final of the past year, before hading over my Wii, I got the note that some online channels and services wouldn't be able anymore, but just that. I didn't know they would totally cut off the online serivces for everything.
I got so mad with it. I even lost a level 70 Ninetales I was offering in change of a Poochyena. But this isn't even the problem, but that it is so boring of can't using any onlinne services at all.
Stupid Nintendo is stupid of letting third parties on hold of their managing and for blocking it instead trying to renew lol.

Yeah I was told about that from some of my work colleagues, they're just trying to get people to buy the newer Nintendo consoles. I know the Wii-U isn't doing as well as they thought it probably would.
It's literally just Nintendos way of pushing people who have the older consoles to buy the newer ones. The newer consoles are more expensive so they'll make more money by taking off one of the things that people enjoy the most about the older consoles - the internet.
