Try to get phantoms to help whoop Ancient Dragon into ash, then use the Ashen Mist Heart you get for beating him to go into Giant's Memories in the Forest of Fallen Giants/Cardinal Tower and pick up Giant Souls. Then, go to Black Gulch, drop down the ledge just past the first rockworm, and there should be two Giants like you fought in the Memories. Kill them, then go to Vendrick and watch as you slaughter him from lowered defenses courtesy of your five Giant Souls. As for Darklurker, can't help you, not a part of Pilgrims of the Dark.
