Ah, I see. I just bought some oil paints at a
garage sale the other day and I'm thinking 
about doing a painting. Just to get better at 
my painting skills.

I'd suggest Acrylic. Preferably my choice...

I've used it numerous times on art and custom toy projects and it dries way better nad has similar results. My batch mates claimed that oil had a better look to it cause it really emphasized the image, which is agreeable in quality, but I like that Acrylic is far more easy to handle.

Lets face it, I have no patience at all...

You will need tinnier or oil paint remover from stores. A very old rug (like a bunch of them). Napkin paper and your canvas if you use oil paint.

Good luck, cause man, for my first time in how many years...it was tough. Love to see what master piece you come up with...
