That makes no sense at all. Obviously they did.
Remember, Bentley had run away in "Trouble Shooter"; he wasn't supposed to be in the Evergreen Forest at the time. I don't see Bentley saying "Hey, I'm running away. Can you give me money for a train ticket?" and George or Nicole saying "Okay."
Ah sorry, it's been a while since I've seen the show, yes you're right. I assume he probably used his allowance for a train ticket or something, or found some other way of getting there, without too much difficulty, though it was never explained in the episode.

As for it not being explained in "Trouble Shooter", this is why I was putting it down in the conspiracy theories discussion to see what theories as to how Bentley was able to get to the Evergreen Forest on his own. (Mind you if he had put that much thinking into his school work, he might not have had to run away!)
