I noticed that myself. If a lefty uses that gun he's going to get sprayed with hot brass. One explanation could be that it did say "state of the art" in the description, perhaps it is designed for caseless ammo. Perhaps the ejector is there to provide stopgap support in case the weapon has to use older cased ammo.
