great shot, roughly how close were you to this owl and was this one of the owls from a rescue center. I tried again on the weekend to sneak up on the great horned owl but just can't get anywhere near the bird. Just wondering, really beautiful capture
This is one of two wild SEOs that I am working on Shuk. Luckily they are hunting over some waste land on an industrial park and are very approachable. This is taken from the car on the side of the road, distance was about 20 metres
it is great to be able to watch them long enough to see hunting patternes and such. I do wish it would stop snowing here, it is making is so hard to get anywhere close to the few owls I have spotted
