If you do not own the images then you must get permission to use them for any purposes(even turning them into PS brushes) or you are infringing on someones copyright. Since this art is not yours you do not have the right to give anyone permission to use it at all. You should not receive the credit for anything, the original artist owns all rights and should be credited for any usage AFTER and IF permission has been granted.
