I see. I did start to develop a bit of a soft side for her in the N64 era. In Mario Tennis she was Luigi's doubles partner. And then when I faced against her in Mario Party 3, I had a bit of a crush on her after seeing her flirt with the Millennium Star (I know, weird huh? 
). But back then I didn't know much about her because I haven't played (or heard of) Super Mario Land at the time. So I had no idea that Mario had rescued her before so I thought she was just a rival for Peach or something (kinda how Mario and Wario are rivals).
But later I released that she was actually Peach's best friend and partner

And then here's the matter of Rosalina. I wasn't too thrilled about her at first because she kinda came off as a Peach look alike at first. But overtime she began to grow on me and I always use her and Luigi in Mario Kart Wii. I just wish that she was in more games

In my opinion, Daisy deserves Mario more than Peach does. Though.. I was into MarioxPeach 
espcially in Super Mario Sunshine and Mario Power Tennis :3 But Daisy kinda has the same personality like Mario.

Well, I think LxD is still possible, even if it hasn't been in a canon game. But that doesn't mean that I'm not open to other options . I mean Luigi can still end up with Peach. People are saying things like "Mario already has her" or Peach doesn't respect Luigi". Well, the truth is that NONE of the pairings in the Mario series are canon. Heck, even MarioxPeach is pure speculation. And I kinda support the idea of Luigi and Peach being together. After all, Luigi doesn't stay at home when Peach is in danger (even if he's forced into going sometimes ). And for all the people who says that Peach doesn't respect Luigi: Luigi is actually one of Peach's closest friends. And she kisses Luigi whenever he rescues her (in the same fashion she does Mario).
And then there's LuigixRosalina. I think this one is pretty possible. In Battlerock Galaxy, after Mario saves Luigi, Luigi then tells Mario that he will only give Mario the Power Star if he promises to tell Rosalina that he was the one who found it. I think he was trying to impress her. And at the end, when you collect all 121 stars with Luigi, you get a picture of Luigi standing next to Rosalina (in the same fashion Mario is with Peach). I think these two would be cute together because Luigi and Rosalina have similar personalities. They're both shy, quiet, and reserved. And they both have what each other needs (Luigi needs to love and care of a motherly figure who will always encourage him to do his best like Rosalina and Rosalina needs the love are care of a kind-hearted who will always understand her like Luigi_

Luigi does share the same personality like Rosalina Like the Lumas call her mama, Yoshi calls Luigi his mama in Super Mario World (Cartoon) Though in this case, Luigi would be the Papa
