Very awesome character and so happy that you finished it ^.^ When I 1st saw Storm I thought he had lightening around him, so his markings fit him. Excellant work!!!

Oh, he's beautiful! The stripes on his neck distract from the rest of his design though, I think it's because they're so 'uniform', so they don't seem to fit very well, but the colors you've chosen are just lovely together.
As for a background suggestion, how about an open field, with storm clouds on the horizon? It seems rather cliche, but fits, considering the name, and the pose, even.
