I totally agree, which is why I love the way you create imagery. Many folks try to replicate other artists styles, and although we are all inspired and influenced, I think individualism is crucial. Artists like Michael Turner (RIP), Adam Hughes, Kevin O'Neil, Eddie Campbell (From Hell) all have incredibly distinct styles which are different and distinguished.
Actually, I guess the late Mike Turner is less different now because so many other artists have mimicked his style, but he did set a precedent for younger artists to base their blossoming styles upon. Consciously or sub.
Point is that with a saturated market, being great at art isn't enough to get noticed anymore. Being great and distinctive is the only way to get acknowledged. Which is why I see you going far because you are distinct and unique. Your work on Opey is superb
