looks like you redid some of the shading... did ya? either way, it still looks great 
Pencils (especially the softer ones) just plain refuse to scan right, for some reason. I think it's because they're so reflective. If you can get it focused right and the light right, a photo quite often works better.

Yeah, it was a .jpeg when I edited it, so it could have been better.
