Oh my god, Monty...He inspired me to try to get into 3D art. I'm extremely sad now.
Are you really planning on going through with your game idea? :) I want to be able to make a 3D game as well one day.

Me as well, I still can't really get over it. : <

Unfortunately not, at least not in a way I would like. My problem is that I'm actually an Animation Artist (at least I'm focusing working on Animation Projects) and therefore I can't focus too much on personal stuff like this.
If I have more time and programming-knowledge, I would love to continue and develop it further...

But hey, then I wish you good luck! It's not really easy to start, but if you get the hang with it...then it's so satisfying to develop such a project.

Me neither, he is so inspirational.

Aw, well I hope you get to have more time to do the things you want to do :3
Unfortunately, I have very little programming and 3D modelling experience but I am trying to learn but it is quite the challenge ._.

Dang, now I remember that I wanted to doodle another tribute for him...but time is too short to handle it. X_____x

Well, maybe I can help you at some point because I actually studied to some degree (two semesters) about Game Art/Design/Programming. If you have any questions, just feel free to ask me. : )

I want to draw a tribute as well sometime soon.

*0* That would be amazing if you could help! I will probably take animation or something along game design. Thank you so much!! :D

Well, if you have any questions regarding these topics, just feel free to ask me. Right now I'm quite busy with work, but I'll try to answer them as soon as possible. ;)

Thank you so much! I haven't tried blender again in a while. I should really keep trying to figure it out. It is still a challenge and the youtube videos aren't much help. >o<

Well, to be absolutely honest with you, I'm not using blender and therefore I can't really help you if it comes to technical questions. >___<
But if you're not quite into blender yet, I would recommend you using Maya or 3ds Max anyway. It's not that blender is bad (quite the opposite : blender seems to be more user-friendly than other tools, since my friend is using it for modeling), but since each larger studio works with a certain pipeline connected to Maya/Max, you won't see much of blender once you entered the industry. D:

I'm talking out of experience, since I'm working as a VFX Technical Director right now and everyone's using Maya here.

Anyway, if you have more general questions regarding to workflows, techniques and such, just feel free to ask me about it. ;)
