Hey! Well there is two things:
- This is hand drawn and inked, when I scan my lines I usually don't burn them too much, I like to keep a part of the grey values or not making the black 100% black, and I think that shows in the final piece
- Then you probably know this already but if you don't this will be pandora's box for you as it was for me back then: When you are in photoshop put the layer with the lines on top of the colors and set the layer to Multiply, or the other way around place the colors on top and set them to multiply, that will make the white automatically transparent
