Well in an interview on IGN, Sega said 'It's not on the cards just yet' and bla bla about how great the Olympics are and how they're games must be successful cos they sold lots (do they count those that are traded in the next day?)
But yeah, I'd like to see some big Nintendo vs Sega thing in a sorta Marvel vs Capcom theme.
Yes I too find it odd that after all these years, the battle to end all battles, a war in the 16 bit era...happens at the Olympic games XD but heh, Sonic is more likely in Brawl now, at least it seems like that.
I'm excited about it, and usually, nothing about the Olympics excites me. That, and the fact that it will be like an expanded WiiSports with Sonic and Mario characters? Oh, it will be good.
I've always been doubtful that we'll ever see the mascots battle it out, but if there is a chance, I think now is the most likely time. Here's hoping!
I wonder how Tails & Yoshi will go with the sand pit thing... or Toadstool... or Racoon Luigi & Cape Mario... and Dr Robotnik... and Knuckles... and Amy Rose apparently... Super Mario versus Sonic the Hedgehog at the 2008 Olympics! Cheater's edition.
