I like the thought and details you put into this one.
I like how you used every inch of space to convey your ideas.
The wing reminds me a bit of a curtain, while the bulb on the flower reminds me of a bulb you might find suspended
in a theatre house.
I think it would be great if the bulb on the flower's stem served to illuminate the details of your picture.
I like the colors.
I like the concept.
Bravo!
thanks again :D such wonderful and detailed commentary from you... i really appreciate it

as for the piece, it's (in my opinion, at least) one of the best things i've done for awhile... it took me a couple of weeks to do it from start to finish, and i'm glad i took my time. i only worked on it when i had an idea of what i wanted to add, rather than completely random doodling...

hmm... the bulb illuminating the rest? i could probably do that with some cheesy photoshop effects, maybe i'll try it out sometime to see how it looks. otherwise, i'd have to break back out my white pen, which is kinda dying, and try and lighten things up around it...

You're welcome.
This IS awesum! I'm glad you took your time.
Now that you mention, It really shows.
Good luck with your Photoshopping, although I'm a little confused about the white pen.
I'm sure you'll do gr8.
I like how you use colors, which I myself am often reluctanct to do.
~rock on!

I love your style. The desingers of the Longest Journey draw like you and I adore there work, Check them out. It's a very popular game, that is interactive. Very fun and full of fantasy.
