No, he can turn into a carnivorous animal (a fox), unlike Chay and Ellen, who both turn into herbivores (hare and squirrel).
Is that all? Doesn't really seem like a big deal to make something out of.
It's a hierarchy thing. The carnivorous sprites tend to like to taunt the herbivores.
