You say it Girl!! Thats beautiful!
You are so right, Im not as pretty or as shaped like they say women should be either but Im happy with myself, and my body.
2 things that do not sit well with me, either within the context of the prose or just because I'm a evolution nerd.
1. This body is perfectly created for its purpose actually not true. Evolution is not perfect. And we have a lot of bits we don't use. Therefore, not perfect. Hee hee.
2. When I feel desire I will yield doesn't really sit with the whole part of you taking care of it. I understand that you are trying to say don't feel guilty about eating junk food, and what not. But to take care of your body you will eat and drink within moderation. Plus it implys a sex thing, which if you are yeilding to all kinds of sexual desire then you are certainly putting the body you care for at high risk, therefor not really taking care of it to the best of your ability. Plus, I wont even get on to the hard core drug part of yeilding to desire. I just feel, that yes the paragraph fits with the abstinance part (to the degree that you don't mean shooting heroine into your eyeballs) but not to the moderation part.
Basically I guess I'm saying, I will be kind to my body; I will never starve it or intentionally harm it does not equal When I feel desire I will yield . Because yeilding to all desire is intentionally harming your body.
Inspiring. This really speaks to me. It says that you should love yourself and that it's your body, and it's perfect in your eyes. Very poetic and lovely. Snaps for the lady ghostlove.
Sorry - faved and commented through my club account I'll fave on this one instead.

I recently heard about a mass murderer who killed seventeen people in three days... they say he was a loner. Well, of course he was. He apparently killed everyone he came in contact with! - George Carlin
Thank you. I already knew everything you said, but I've been doing some very stupid things and I really needed the reminder. You put it very eloquently too.
-- Rules are like paperclips: meant to keep things together, fun to bend, and easily twisted out of shape. There is no problem the human mind cannot solve or create. Step One is learning the ropes. Step Two is chewing through them.
"Though it is not conventionally attractive, I will not make it disappear simply because I am told to by billboards and glossy magazines. I will not pull at it, pluck it, starve it and paint it to fit into a world where women are small and take up no more space than allowed. I am proud of my body because it is mine, because it is large, because it is beautiful."
Something I must learn and repeat to myself daily. I wish I had your confidence.
