I love the whole 'horror' theme that seems to come with insomniac-paranoia, and it just makes for a really fun/scary little piece.
And even just your wording is always fantstic, particularly for expressing the imagery and idea. <3

Oh dayumns... That almost suits my manga (in development) character Lamia. The manga's title is 'The Insomniac'. And man... this almost hit close to home.. It's good. Love the ending.

Well, the insomniac doesn't really have a plot yet. There are two main characters.

Lamia is the psycho. She couldn't sleep and her insomnia changes her behavior into sadistic desires. She falls in love with the other main character.

Goddess is a woman who treats Lamia like a daughter but as time progresses she falls in love. She slowly finds out about Lamia's insanity.

I actually had a summary of the storyline somewhere in my computer but I can't go through all the files (Bashi is one of the most unorganized people in the world). ^w^
