The first costume i think could easily be played off as a woman or a guy, my initial reaction, i guess, was that she was a girl, but that mind of been because the first words i saw before looking at the actual picture was "Ladywoman", so i kind of subconsciencely labeled her a girl.

The second costume, though still the same character, the costume choice sort of gives it away. Though i have known guys to wear dresses, not on a day-to-day basis thankfully, if your trying to define the character as a girl, the second two is the best.

I think it'd be awesome if you did create a comic in which you never did truly reveal the sexuality of the character. It'd be one of the those quirky comics where the reader sort of just assumes, but you never use the definitive words to label her as either one, such as "he" or "she". Give the character an ambiguous name such as Ashton, that could really make the character fall in either category. Let it have hobbies that do not have sexual barriers (no boy/girl teams). And then just when you feel like finishing series have that final punch where you identify the character's sexuality, this sort of twist can cause at least the impulse for the reader to want to read all the previous comics over.

That's my two cents

Damn, you've got me stumped! lol

With its hair pulled back, it looks female, and with the hair down, it looks male.

For me, it looks like a female. And it's all fine with me.

Initially, I thought the two LWMFs in the green hoodie were female and the two in the skirt were male.
Would I mind reading a thing where I never found out the gender? Not really. >.> Wouldn't be the first time.

"I put no stock in religion. By the word religion I have seen the lunacy of fanatics of every denomination be called the will of god."
Well, at first glance I believe it to be a female, particularly when looking at the right picture. Though some men have probably worn long skirts like that (Rare but still a possibility) it seems to give me the impression that this character could indeed be more of a female than a male. The figure on the left is wearing more fitting clothing which shows us a more curvy figure (at least in my opinion) something mimicing that of a woman's physique more so than a males...() n.n not sure if you were going for that or not but anyway.

I do readily accept that the character could indeed be ambiguous in sex, and yes I would say I'd be comfortable reading a series that features this character where the sex is never really revealed (They've done it before XD) it just makes things more interesting and more open to 'debate' so to speak among readers =)

I hope this helped () n.n

I saw the first image (On the left) and thought male, mainly because of the cloths, the hair style, and the smirk. Also the way they hold themselves while standing. The last (on the right) struck me as female, mostly because of the long skirt like bottom. But yes, like the person before me said, the hair up does make them look more feminine too.

Not real long and thaught out, but there is my opinion, I hope it helps some.

My initial reaction to the image with the green zip-up was "guy," then seeing the one with the blue shirt, made me thing "woman." The skirt ad the way the hair is pulled back (for some reason). So, really, I can't give you a specific gender based on anything.

Perhaps a hermaphrodite. Perhaps not.

About the who sexually ambiguous character comic thing, why wouldn't I be? I tend to be rather androgynous unless I wear cloths especially intended to show of the boobs. As for a comic centered around a character like that, it would be fun. I already read one with that type of character ("Order of the Stick." The character I'm talking about is an elf named Varsuvius), and and anime (Ed, from "Cowboy Bebop").

Prejudice is prejudice. It doesn't matter who's trowing the crap, it's still stinking up the room.
At first glance LWMF looks female with its hair(love the hair though), the way it holds itself and a little facial construction, BUT LWMF could also be male, tis rather confusing. I have to say that at first glace LWMF looks like a female based on the outfit to the right, but i could totaly be wrong. Other than that its almost impossible for me to tell.

On the comic note , i would be intrested in reading such a comic, this is an intresting character, and an intresting concept. I would be completely comfortable with it. The never finding out wuold bug me a little >.> but what the heck! go for it!

hope this helps >.>

Well...first and foremost I'd love to read a comic like that. It'd be fun/interesting/entertaining and I'm sure partially educational as well.

I don't know that I don't readily accept that those aren't the only two options. I mean, I guess I see it as you're male or you're female, and I base it on biological parts. Of course, I know there are some people that don't have either or have both or whatever, and for those people I don't know. I think you are one or the other based on biology, but you can choose to act or you can be raised however you or your parents/guardians decide.

Oddly enough, the one on the left and the one on the bottom both look more like men to me. The one on top and the one on the right more like women. Why? The facial mannerisms in the one on the left and the one on top strike me as male and female respectively. The one on the right, just the way LWMF is standing makes me think woman, and the bottom one...I don't know, I just think guy for some reason.

~An original Fantasy story focusing on a demon's quest for revenge.
Initially I thought the two in the image were twins. The green in pants was the brother and the blue with skirt was the sister. It wasn't even so much their outfits as it was their attitudes. The left seemed to have that kind of suave guy attitude while the right had that curious, uncertain girly expression on their face.

Overall I'm going to consider LWMF a woman for th sake of the stalky build and long hair with earrings. I actually would be interested to see a character like this in a comic just because it would be intriguing to see how they interact with others and vice versa. Really cool idea, I applaud your endeavor. If you need any more information or further detail please feel free to ask :)
Ah yeah I agree with that. Their mannerisms and just their stance really effects my idea of who they are. I can see how the one in green in the middle top would be female because of how his/her chest is jutted out while the one in blue on the bottem middle looks more guy because of the whole "pants in the pockets" stance. Good eye.
