Oh my god yes.
I read an ENTIRE YouTube comment section, and there was this one person who kept commenting about how 'Character X and Character Y is terrible and its' shippers are idiotic and "autistic"'. (I am against using that word as an insult, but that person kept using it as one.)

Comment after comment this person wrote, saying: "Character X likes Character Z, not Character Y!", "Why do you people ship Character X and Character Y? You guy are so stupid!"

S/he even went as far as to say her/his opinion is right and the shipper's are wrong.

After people tried to reason with her/him by saying: "Hey, we all have different opinions. If you don't like the ship, why are you still complaining about it?"

S/he then blocked them and proceeded to throw temper tantrum about the ship.


That's why I never write fan-fiction or draw shipping fan-art. I don't want to deal with these type of people. I don't need them in my life.
Besides, I like reading others' fan-fiction and commenting on others' fan-art better.
