haha XD yeah .. that's what I thought of too when I saw the thing you said on facebook. I was like 'yay! he got a DD, just like he wanted!'
I just don't really practice .. that's why I love art class, because I'm forced to do something that I actually really like, but never do in my free time .. And I usually really hate drawing or painting when people are around .. which is why I usually have my ipod to shut people out
.. it always feels like I'm being watched, even when I'm not at all ..
And I'm so mad >< I have a Chem field trip tuesday, so I miss art again. I was mad that I missed it friday for a bio trip, but it's retarded that I have to miss it again.

Well that's no fun! Chem is overrated!
I used to find it tough to find the time to paint, but I have a really sweet setup at my place now. I have a studio set up in my basement with my tv, computer, and gym down there... so it's just a really nice place to hang out. I can paint for an hour, then take a break and do something else. It's definitely the reason I've been able to finish so many paintings in the last while... that and the fact that I'm determined to be a professional painter. But don't worry, I'm not going to give up teaching art

That sounds amazing .. I would basically never leave my basement if I had everything down here .. I only have my computer and tv.. ... When I move out, I'm definitely looking for a 1 level place so I can have everything relatively close to each other. I don't like basements because there isn't enough sunlight, and I don't like having a bazillion (which obviously means three) floors, because that ups my chances of falling down (or up) stairs, and everything gets spread out and it's annoying I'd just need a lot of room to prevent walking into walls/doors/other things ...
I shouldn't be writing things after being up for 13 hours straight with only 5 hours of sleep ..
But, I think you could definitely be a professional painter .. that would be so amazing for you
and the only reason I want to stay for the entire day of school every other day is so I can go to art .. I actually have a lot of fun in your classes

Next year I want to make art more interactive, where I do more direct teaching. I feel like sometimes class is a little too lax and maybe we need a little more structure. But regardless, I want people to enjoy it.

yeeaah ... stairs are not friendly ..
I think it's probably harder to teach art successfully than any other class .. it's not like you can get someone to memorize a specific style of art, and replicate it .. at least with math or science there are things that you have to learn, and they're standard pieces of information that everyone learns ..
But for the most part, the class I'm in seems to be able to concentrate fairly well .. I don't know about your other ones though

Well, I feel like my junior high classes are a little better because all we really do is cartooning and that's a lot easier to teach. I think next year is going to be really good though... except for the fact that we won't have the digital art.
That's good .. Cartooning is definitely easier .. especially for people with small attention spans ^_^
yeah .. I was looking forward to digital art .. because right now, my digital art skill would probably be 0 ... But I'm really glad I'm in art for the entire year it will give me a reason to sit through my other classes
