I got a book of him and I love him, though practically noone here knows him. Pity. Your work is great!
He has very interesting technique when you look at his works in real life 
He draws with tempera on very raw canvas (I'd rather name it carton) and the color of canvas mixes with tempera - making awesome mounting texture. This are details that are not seen on photos or replicas but they are very important

I like him for the light and the serene atmosphere of many of his pics.
