Why do you hate your pictures so much when you totally pwn at drawing them?

Some things to keep in mind about The Game:
1. The Game is endless 2. You CANNOT win The Game 3. You CAN lose again and again 4. You started playing The Game when you were born 5. You quit when you die 6. You just lost The Game...
chris is right, you aren't as bad as you think. this picture, for instance, doesn't really have anything noticably wrong with it. and if you were so wretched, you wouldn't have been able to help me draw more proportional figures, so you can't be that bad, because you did.

I make people laugh. If they don't, I punch them in the stomach.
Not to offend anyone else who posts here...but they really don't know what you're talking about I understand what you're saying, namely that it really doesn't matter what other people think about your art. Rather, you validate your art through your personal satisfaction. The same frustration that you feel is a big factor into why I gave up drawing for the most part except for the necessary characters sketches.
I hope that you can find the ways that improve your art in your eyes. It's incredibly frustrating to dream beyond your abilities, and I hate it too. I have so many things in my head, but I can only describe them and hope that someone will draw the pictures for me
As for the picture itself, I personally like it. I'll admit that it does seem a little messy and I can see where you got lazy with the shoes (I do that too), but overall it's a good sketch.

If holidays were twelve months long And life were games and fun And all the skies Were filled with PSI's ...Would thinking still get done?
A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
