Sure, screws are the best way to secure kits on their base. ^_^
It is also removable and fits very well in polyurethane resin that is enough "flexible" to create a "screw thread" the first time you screw.
Most of the time I use this system now for my figures and mechas.
I'm currently building a Raiden kit here are just few picts of the parts => s609.photobucket.com/user/ogam…
And I the screws holes for the legs are ready !

I was tempted to get that raiden kit too, did you get if from E2046?
I'm already running out of room, so I have to limit my collection to street fighter kits only.

Yep I got it from them, a very nice and sharp recast.
The original was pretty impossible to find unfortunately even on Yahoo Japan Auction...
This kit is not very easy to paint, many details so many masking time... I have just completed the body, I need more time to finish the head/accesories. I made also a special base, a lot bigger than the furnished one...
The WIP will be very short because it is essentially basic masking technicals...

Yep I was thinking about it ! A basic enemy would have been nice like the one sold with the PVC => www.metalgearinformer.com/wp-c…

and I don't have the skills to sculpt it !
