Btw how did you make the partten white? I tried to do the same as you did in the speedart video, but mine isn't turn white, it's keeps being black :/
1. Create a pattern
2. Create a new layer
3. Select them (holding "Ctrl")
4. Click right mouse button on them and choose "Merge"

Well. I told you how to remove that black mask. Now you can make it any color you want man
