Personally, I believe Gollum to not be suffering a disorder at all- the influence of the Ring splintered his mind and forced the dichotomy. *shrug* And oh god, I hadn't even considered Rainey. Secret Window was an excellent movie, and there's so much IN it. (*thinks* Probably ought to watch that again. >> ) Fiction is ridiculous. ._. And frankly, I think people's minds are scary. Whoa. ._. Four years? DAMN, woman. I can hardly get myself to research a subject for two weeks to do a paper. xD It is unfortunate though, that Dissociatives really aren't talked about. :'| And they have very subtle names, at least a couple do-- I can guarantee that a very low percentage of the population can tell you what "Fugue" means without getting a dictionary.
