If ever you get the chance, you should definately watch it! Unless you've got something against occasional gore...then I wouldn't recommend it quite so much.
Cool!! I love the shading, and the texture of his legs is awesome!!
I loved Pan's Labyrinth as well - it was such a great film...though, it was a bit gruesome in parts!
I saw it in the cinema, and remember that there were some scenes in which the whole audience was squirming and making little 'eww errghh' noises. (Mainly the torn lip sewing scene).
Thanks It took me aaaages to do the legs!
I know what you mean. Another 'eww' bit would have to be with the rabbit hunters and the gun Xo I was squirming and I saw it on a small screen!
Oooh, yes...that scene was really painful to watch. Actually, the whole film was quite painful - but in a moving way - not a horrid way (though, I had to shut my eyes at certain moments). I saw it with two friends, and one actually came out of the cinema sobbing. I was close to tears myself...
It was really 'ruthless' (if that's the right word ) - it moves the audience out of their comfort zone pretty much all the way through. I think that's why it's so moving, because you're not expecting it to be quite so... and it just pushes that. It's certainly unlike anything I've seen before!!
It's obvious that it was inspired by Grimms Fairy Tales. It's got that nasty streak in it.
I've heard its a good film, but I've got no motivation to see it. I probably will see it eventually though. Great drawing, even if I don't know what the hell it is!

"Is it that show about the little girl that wanders around the jungle without any adult supervision, averting crises and conversing with wild animals with the aid of her foreign-language-speaking monkey?"

Here are 100 (and a few more) of some very nice photographs on deviantART that I think should get some attention. Some already have a fair bit, but deserve it. So I'm giving them more.
