That's the one I have lol, works fine for me and have no problems with it so far.....until my PS3 went out lol, my bluray lens went out I belive TT. To much fun gaming I guess lol.

Official Doom games????? What do you mean??, they are the official games lol. I got Doom 3 BFG Edition a few month after t came out for 20$ It came with, Doom, Doom II, and Doom 3, and with extra stuff on it.

I don't understand Steam all that much, or why people are so crazy about it lol, they are so expensive. It probably cost me in upwards of 40$-50$ to buy all that, not to mention buy the Steam subscription to play the games :(

The sad thing is, I don't think that my older laptop could even handle playing the original Doom games, and the the first game is 23 years old lol. The put so much junk in these old games, that you almost need a 1000$ gaming computer to handle playing them :(

Well, the first time I ever played Doom was on the PS3 version, but the PS3 version has the non-bug fixed version; so some maps are impossible to beat, or insanely hard to win properly. Also, the PS3 version runs on a slower framerate, so the game seems to move at a slower rate.

Steam is actually a fantastic gaming platform. Some games are expensive; but if you wait for sales; than you can truly hit gold.

Well, I was just offering you a good way to play Doom. Also, if you like Doom, I'd recommend you check out Wolfenstein 3D. Be warned though, Wolfenstein 3D is brutal compared to Doom.

Slower frame rate? Don't really know what that is lol
Some of the levels where pretty hard, but I didn't notice any bugs. If I did I probably didn't notice them lol

I'll give you that Steam does have some interesting stuff, but I never really know when they have sales or nothing.
I think that saddest thing is, they've somehow in their porting over, remaster, or making them available on there site have somehow made the game files much much bigger and require a high performance PC in order to run them.

I've got an original copy of Doom on CD Rom lol, no one remembers CD Rom lol, but  could back it up on my flash drive 115x over...if I knew how lol, and play it no issues. But, for whatever reason, I can't smoothly play a simple game like undertale without my Laptop crashing....its sad plus its only like 6-7 years old. Old by tech standards sure, but not ancient lol

I know Bout Wolfenstein, damn thing was awesome in its time XD scary too

What I mean by slower framerate is, all the monsters and movement of the game itself is slower than that of the PC version. And there are some map bugs that were never fixed in the official version (The worst offender is TNT Evilution Map 31, the creators tagged the Yellow Key as Multiplayer only, so the map is only beatable with a glitch). Other than that, it runs alright, just not as well as the PC version.

Ah kk, I never thought about that before :)

What game is this glitch on?

The game included is TNT Evilution. It only shows up in Map 31 the first secret map however.

Not sure f I made it that far before I was sidetracked by others games lol
