An excellent portrait, good likeness but even better use of pencils. There's some gorgeous textures in this piece. Sometimes there's no way round it, you *have* to use a little black for a bit of contrast.

Brilliant! I never watched the show though haha. Why do they say no black? is it because it doesnt occur naturally that often?

:aww: Thanks :D It's a good show :) Apparantly black isn't a colour as such, and the only way you can have real black is if there's no light :confused:

Oh I get it. Makes sense, but things still appear black more or less, so you should be allowed to use it. Screw the rules!

Thanks :thanks: I hope she'll stick at it :D Yes there is gonna be one this year, but no one knows when yet. I can't understand why it wasn't more popular. I liked the way not everyone was good looking ('cos that's silly when they do that) & I thought the sheriff was hilarious too :laughing:
