I don't want to imagine being forced to cycle (or do anything active) in a massive poofy skirt. Or any skirt, really.

I knooow, and yet the FIRST female cyclists did wear skirts... I think they did it for several years before they've had enough and bloomers became a thing. It's not like a bicycle is a horse and you can ride it SIDEWAYS, though I don't think those horse side-saddles weren't that comfortable either.... I mean, I wouldn't want to sit on a horse sideways, that doesn't seem practical or even safe...

I used to always imagine my characters stuck in some historical events and/or commenting on them back when I had history classes (so like something between Doctor Who and Horrible Histories with my characters) so even though I'm not as much of a history nerd as I used to be (information filters out of my head pretty fast if I'm not using it) I'm still tempted to draw something history-related from time to time.
