Looks great, gives it more depth but I feel the WIP retained the cartoon feel to it with the flat colors. But that's just me. =)

I think you got the colors pretty much exactly. Watching the cartoons , I came away with the impression that Zok felt especially protective of Tara. This , of course , was just my childish filling in of the backstory...

Thanks, Varchild and Jack-x; I'm rather proud of the textures.

The simplicity of the art in the TV series left a lot of details undetermined, such as: what exactly is the texture of Zok's skin? Scaly like a lizard? smooth like a salamander's skin (only dry)? I went with something in-between.
