It looks like the lake/ocean/fjord will never end and the dark pile of clouds right above the water gives me the impression that there has been a storm or something but the light took the victory. 
This has a relieved and heavenly atmosphere. The golden lighting is also creating atmosphere here and the contrast is perfect!
I like that there's a scarp on both sides of the photo; it's creating depth and leading watchers eyes to the centre of the pic.
