Yes, that lighting also stopped those muggers from looting the shop! And kinda destroyed the entire shop so much that it costs more money than they can spend and clearly much more money than the muggers could take, which means Flash would be a better hero if he didn't do heroic stuff at all... Hey, he IS in the same universe as Man of Steel and it shows.
