I would really not recommend LayerPaint as an animation program. If you're interested though, I believe that FireAlpaca has some animation tools, and it's a nice free Windows equivalent to LayerPaint.
You should definitely give animation a shot though, it's hard work, but once you bring something to life like this it's never quite the same.

Seriously! ^u^ One thing is drawing, another is animation! Making the picture come even more alive! Like here for example! It's just a simple breathing animation ....but I'm sure that took a long time to do owo;; you did an excellent job! I love it!
