I forget. Were Sonic's eyes in the comics before they adapted the adventure designs brown?
They were brown in his classic are when Ken Penders was the writer, they shown a couple of time in the classic comics but they try and hide it by turning them black like his game counterpart.

That I don't know, they even made a joke about that in the comics with Sally gotten into a mess that change her fur, plus Sally's fur was pink in the first Satam Sonic.
