There is no catch. If there was a catch it would be written there so that we weren't tricking people into thinking they were getting something that they weren't actually getting TuT Companions don't need taming, if a creature is a companion already it doesn't need to be tamed (Pixies are just one example). This is for any of the creatures that can come into/are in Griffia that aren't companions automatically, so yes animals from the human world. You still have to follow the limit rules for how many companions your Bagbean can have based on their political status though.
Just for clarification purposes, if a bb joins the tamer class, and s/he enlists earth creatures as companions--are we allowed to "make" these companions ourselves? o uo And would they be eligible for companion training?
If a Bagbean becomes a tamer yes you can make the companion yourself...but it would still have to look like the animals do in nature (so no wacky colors/designs ect). And yes they would be, but keep in mind there is still the limit of how many companions your bb can have depending on their social status.
