According to Rob Renzetti Jenny and Sheldon were going to be a couple if only they continued the series.
It’s more than likely that Jenny and Sheldon would ha gotten together had a 4th season of MLaaTR been made. Sheldon had received numerous character changes and development all throughout the 3 season official season of MLaaTR and was all set for a massive character arc that most likely would happen in the season following season 3.
Sheldon becomes gets trapped in space for over 80 yesterday, becomes a space pirate captain during those decades he was in space, gets recruited by a government agency and trained as a secret agent, and finally begins to acknowledge his poor behavior after failing to win Jenny’s affection by making her jealous.
So I have to agree that Sheldon was essentially all prepped and ready for a big development for his character. But a change like this probably would need to take place in a fresh season and a 4th season of MLaaTR was never made.
