Yep, she had little to no care about anything when Minerva was around. The serval worked really hard to keep Hazel's life carefree and painless. Hazel was young enough she didn't know she was being sheltered. She would have dreams every once in a while that haunted her but everyone has nightmares so she didn't think twice about it
But when Minerva was taken, and everyone was telling her the Serval was dead, it started to bring back the pain she felt when her own mother died.
That was when she started to be more concerned about hearing again, as she felt like if she could hear again, she might hear something that helped her rediscover her past
The missing key is her name. Once she hears her name again, it will all come back and when it does, all hell is gonna break lose XD

Im really nervous for Hazel to hear her name, tbh. I just cannot even imagine what it will mean for her or for Jasper, but obviously it will be huge. I hope you have something good in mind!
lol, I have had their meeting written out in my head for almost a year now actually. The only people that know how it is going to happen is me, and my sister, with a few other people knowing minor details.
I wont lie, it is going to be intense.
The only reason I told my sister is cause one day she was super emotional and started crying because Jasper's story, funnily enough all the parts that I DIDN'T write alone but in RP's and such, had put her to tears. I had mercy on her and had to tell her how they were going to meet again so that she could sleep that night.
So it seemed to pacify her, I hope it will be everything everyone was hoping for when it finally happens XD

HA trust me I will be sticking around! Happy to have Apennine in Jasper's circle of acquaintances too so she could even IC react potentially! (depending, of course, on what happens!)

Hahaha yeah we will have to see! Her reaction to his reaction (whatever that might be) will be interesting if nothing else, I think! Hopefully she can be a bit less of a brat in his eyes by then, but it might also be fun if not! Either way, it'll be good!
