Oh man I adore this guy! I think I liked him more in the movie though, that might be because I love Gregory Peck. But whatever. Anyway when I saw this it SERIOUSLY made my day! I love love love this!!! Great work! I'm sorry, I'm kind of spazzing out here.

"You soaked his underwear in meat. That is so wrong! ... Funny. But wrong!"
I'm favving this.... not because I know anything about this character, but because I love your enthusiasm about him and I do intend to read the book someday. So someday when I do... maybe I can come back to this picture and share your enthusiasm. xDD
Is it a good book? I mean, you lead me to believe it is. I was supposed to read it for school but I never did. I balk at books like that, I don't know why. But I'm trying to make myself read classics now.

I will not spin the turtle... I will not yell "she's dead" during roll call... The principal's toupee is not a frisbee... Goldfish don't bounce...
Oh, it's a good book. I've always liked it, and the characters are crafted to the point that you care about him.
But tastes vary, you know? I tend to like books that other people would dislike (because I grew UP reading; I didn't get a computer till I was nine, and even then, I wasn't allowed to watch much television that wasn't educational *laughs*).
But yeah, I enjoyed it. Maybe you should try and watch the movie! It's pretty old, still black and white, but Gregory Peck is brilliant. I totally recommend both.
