At this point, dA needs to hire a new CEO who actually cares about the well-being of the website rather than making money and living the high life. It's obvious that he's denying the site is losing money through the loss of members as well as creating updates that nobody asked for. While some decisions made by the other admins are understandable, what would be even more helpful is if they actually looked into certain situations (regarding pedophiles and trolls/cyberbullies). It's tough to decide which side is right or wrong, but there are times where it's clearly apparent and that certain people deserve to be banned.
Actually, here's a list that could better improve the site altogether:
1. Hire a caring CEO who is considerate and not a mmoneygrabbing adult.
2. Make the FAQ navigation much easier and organized, with the keywords added to certain entries to make searching much easier.
3. Update the site through what the community wants, not some rebranding update that nobody asked for.
4. Put the Support, FAQ, and Contact information on the same page instead of having separate site pages.
5. Hire admins who know the ins and outs of the site, preferably those who are experienced, considerate, open-minded, quick, and who have been members of the site for years.
6. Have a filter for creating usernames so that nothing offensive spawns like anything regarding terrorism or racism.
7. Have a captcha system to prevent spam accounts from running rampant around the site (like they are already).
8. Don't advertise CORE so much that it's everywhere to shove down member's throats. One ad is quite enough!
9. Fix the copyright system here. Even Tumblr has a better setup regarding this than dA.
10. Give updates to EVERYBODY so that changes made don't startle everybody. Don't leave us in the dark!
I'm sure with these implementations, the site would see a bit of a 180 in a positive sense.
