And Carrie had already finished filming for Episode VIII, so she'll definitely be there. Which is great, but will be such a pain to watch...
I guess they'll give her a fitting dedication in Episode VIII's end credits.
That's the least they can do. And figure out a good way to write her out. No other actress can ever truly take her place.

Funnily enough I thought CGI Tarkin worked better than CGI Leia, and he had a lot more screen time. I would prefer a stylish exit, but CGI is fine by me too.
I had the very same impression. Tarkin was great. But the sequence with Leia receiving the Death Star plans didn't work for me.
